Disclosure
Disclosure This piece was created for UF’s APIA annual anthology, based around the topic of things we keep hidden. My goal for this work was to gather stories and poetry from a variety of Desi’s that have felt the need to hide themselves from their community or their parents. These stories are centered around abuse, sexism, mental health and the LGBTQ+ community. The media used was a monochromatic acrylic mixed with gloss on poster board.
